Environmental considerations
Environmental and sustainability work in the mining industry is of utmost importance and is conducted as a continuous and long-term effort within our group. Lappland Guldprospektering strives to conduct maximum resource and environmentally efficient operations both during the period leading up to the start of mining, during mining and after mining has ended. The goal is to have as small an impact on nature as possible and to constantly strive to develop a more efficient way of working from an environmental perspective.

Sweden has a good historical knowledge of the impact of exploration activities on the environment and nature. Sweden is at the forefront of environmental considerations both at the time of exploration and final mining operations. The approach and choice of methods are constantly characterized by an effort to optimize for the least possible impact. Lappland Guldprospektering utilizes many years of experience and expertise with newly developed knowledge in the latest technology and environmental expertise to minimize all forms of environmental impact. This objective will continuously be an integral part of the Company's environmental permit application.
The Company's strategy is to eventually build a central processing plant to extract gold from ores from a larger catchment area adjacent to the largest identified gold deposit. Such a joint plant will allow ores from neighboring mines to be processed efficiently, at low cost and in an environmentally acceptable manner, without the need to build expensive and environmentally damaging facilities at each individual deposit.

We are aware that several of our projects are located in areas of interest for the reindeer industry. We will be open to a meaningful dialog with the traders.

Lappland Guldprospektering ambition is to interact with the local community through training, industry councils and labor market councils. The company also maintains a continuous dialogue with authorities, organizations, local residents and others who are affected by our operations in various ways.
According to Lappland Guldprospektering, social responsibility does not mean complying with the minimum requirements imposed on an operator in the mineral exploration sector. Social responsibility means being at the forefront of development. In constant dialog with people whose lives are affected in various ways by the company's activities, finding new and improved ways of working, techniques and management continuously having an ear to the ground to identify new needs early and to come up with responsible solutions.
SveMin, the industry organization for Swedish mines, mineral and metal producers, has, with the help of the Minerals Act, formulated guidelines for its member companies to support its work with the work environment, external environment and social responsibility during the exploration phase. Lappland Guldprospektering intends to maintain a constant dialogue with the industry organization to ensure that the company and its representatives work in line with current guidelines. Through a lively dialog and exchange with other actors in Swedish mineral exploration, the company will strive for continuous development and stronger relationships with all stakeholders in the vicinity of the projects.
